My Travel Backlogs (Part 1)
I love to travel. Most of us do. A friend once said that she hates to travel because of the luggages and packing she needs to do for her husband & two kids, aside from the expense. But that’s just part of the fun of travelling!
I guess I inherited this itch from my parents. We always go far up north to see beaches in Zambales, Pangasinan & La Union as well as down south to Bicol region. As long as there is still road to hit, my dad is there to drive the whole family. I remember staying at least 12 hrs inside the car just to get to Vigan, and another time, to Bicol region. Maybe that’s why im used to a long drive. (aside from the fact that even our house is at the most 1 hour from Manila & we drive back & forth that distance everyday). Too bad we don’t have digital camera back then for easy internet upload.
It was my first time in 2007 to go out of Luzon. It was a company site visit to Palawan.
I love Palawan. I will always come back to this place. (in fact I did 4x!)
Following month after, is our family trip to Boracay. With then my ex bf (not in photo) ;)
Boracay has the finest, powdery sand I've ever seen. Though I hated the green algae on the shore and the outfall so near to the beach!
Year after, never did I know that I will start working abroad.
Macau. Im thrilled to go back and check out City of Dreams & again attempt to bungee jump.
HK. Where I experienced winter w/o snow & got to wear boots comfortably. Of course crazy shopping!
Vietnam. Where food is delisyoso & outdoors are easy & cheap. Memorable time in Hanoi
Bangkok. For a day. Sigh. Next on my travel list! Met my ninang though :)
Singapore. one word : Artificial.
KL. Like Philippines except that they already advanced ahead of us.
Batam. It was a joke to spend a weekend there. But im hoping to try batam wakeboarding soon.
