"Maybe Finland." My usual answer since i was waiting for the visa for this next assignment.
Then came an offer to Micronesia! Sure, ive heard of Micronesia & Macronesia and had an idea they are both somewhere in the Pacific.
"so you're going to Paradise Island" - my former boss said after breaking the news of my resignation.
"San ba yun?"- usual question after finally confirming my departure to Pohnpei.
"I-google nyo na lng" - i always answer.
Below is a vague image of where Federated States of Micronesia (Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei, Kosrae) is located. Its almost nothing on the map. Near Guam & Palau. FSM is a US AFP (Armed Forces Pacific). Google the rest of information about the people, population, geography & history. :)
PS: When i went home last Christmas, everyone was asking how's Guam (& excited to get pasalubong since they thought I came from the US). Apparently, my mom will always answer I am in Guam. Just to make things simpler!
