It's official!

I am now a part of the Bayaning Filipino pack - an OFW again.

My EP card and Welcome booklet from MOM.
I am not a stay at home wife as what my occupation in FB announces.. for now. :) Don't get me wrong, but i would love to be a housewife if only we have kids now.

Some tidbits from my welcome booklet :

1. Malay is the national language of Singapore. (I always thought it's Mandarin/English!) It's probably because they were once part of Malaysia.

2. Tax is just 15% of your income. Nice!

3. You are eligible to rent a lower priced HDB unit via Jurong Town Council, if in your first two years of stay in SG. Since Art has been staying in Jurong ever since, this is a huge consideration to us.. Jurong, like my hometown Malolos, is one hour from the city via MRT but unlike Bulacan, I cannot consider it as laid back as I cannot tell the difference from living in a "box type" condo/HDB in the city to the same "box type" condo/HDB in Jurong. Still I don't have a garden/backyard or the luxury of big spaces.

"Asia's best country to work in." The booklet packages SG as an enticing place to consider your second home. I am still in search of my second home and it is a difficult task for my heart will always be accustomed to my one and only Filipinas!
